covers only faults in parts or workmanship. Warranty cover is NOT insurance cover, of course!
"Twinband" transceivers allow simultaneous and independent
operation on two bands at any time, e.g. receiving on one band
whilst transmitting on the other band. All firmware upgrading is chargeable. Firmware upgrading is not free within the radio's warranty period. All firmware is covered by warranty.
A valid sales receipt copy must accompany each warranty claim. ADDITIONAL NOTE Ross of Strictly Ham advised us on 14-04-23 that he's retiring. We suggest you contact Ross direct if you have any outstanding orders.

intentional or unintentional damage, transmitting into >2:1 vswr
or any other adverse operating or maintenance conditions. The 5-year warranty on Icom amateur radio transceivers (except IC-905) shall not apply to damage caused by nature (acts of God), such as by lightning, static, storm and tempest, moisture or water intrusion or deposition. The 5-year warranty on Icom amateur radio transceivers (except IC-905) is limited to repairing or replacing products which have proven manufacturing faults in parts or workmanship and it specifically excludes consequential damage! |
