The AR8600 Mark2 is an amazingly versatile receiver which can be
used mobile, base or transportable. It can be powered from an external
12V DC power supply, 12V vehicle or from an optional internally
fitted NiCad battery pack.
Due to continuous development of AOR products, the AR8600 Mark2
has been enhanced in several areas. It now receives from 100kHz
to 3000MHz (3.0GHz) - with improved lower frequencies
sensitivity, too!
Receiving bandwidths of 3kHz, 9kHz, 12kHz and 150kHz (all BWs @

AR-8200 Mk3-IR has been modified to be fully Night Vision Goggle
(NVG) compatible for government applications. When the IR
(Infra-red illumination) function is activated, the original
green LED that illuminates the display and keypad is
deactivated. The IR illumination intensity has been set to be
compatible with the high sensitivity levels of military grade
NVGs.
For this reason, it may be difficult to appreciate the
difference between IR function ON and OFF when low specification
or low sensitivity night vision goggles are utilised.

and accessories) shall not apply to customer-caused,
environment-caused or consequential damage
caused by any
means, such as
by overvoltage, reverse polarity,
moisture or water intrusion,
excessive duty cycle, or to neglect or
accidental or intentional
or unintential damage or other adverse operating
or maintenance
conditions. Our 1-year warranty on AOR receivers shall
not apply
to damage caused by nature (acts of God), such as by
lightning,
static, storm and tempest, moisture or water intrusion or
deposition. Our 1-year warranty on AOR receivers is
strictly
limited to repairing or replacing products (at our discretion) which have proven
manufacturing faults in parts or workmanship and it specifically
excludes consequential damage, etc. Our one-year warranty applies
only
to new AOR scanning receivers, communications receivers and
accessories we sold and the above exclusions and conditions
apply.
All firmware upgrading is chargeable.
Firmware upgrading is
not free within the product warranty period.
All firmware is
covered by the original product's warranty.
