loosening of antennas or their sections due to improper
maintenance, care or installation by the customer.
Warranty will be void if products are customer damaged
or environmentally damaged or otherwise damaged.

Where possible, please ensure coaxial cable lengths are in
multiples of a 1/2-wave (not in odd multiples of 1/4-wave
lengths) of wavelength on every operating band, taking
into account your coaxial cable's velocity factor!!

Base station verticals installed in high wind speed areas should be guyed! Please install base station antennas safely...  
We import, sell and recommend JA-version multiband Diamond vertical antennas. Those models covering the 2m and 70cm bands (or more) are centred on 145MHz and 435MHz and will cover 144-148MHz and 430-440MHz. The swr at 148MHz is 1.8:1 to 2:1 and we know of no problems ever encountered due to this swr present at the top of 2m.

These versions have been conclusively proven over the past 44 years to be best suited to the Australian and New Zealand 2m/70cm band plans. Diamond requires very large minimum order quantities (MOQs) per model of antenna when requesting special tuning of any antenna.

Alternatively, we can import "A" suffix (USA) version multiband verticals. However, they would be at higher pricing and their delivery timing would require confirmation. They are centred on 146Mhz and 443MHz (i.e. 8MHz higher on 70cm than the centre of the AUS/NZ 70cm band, which is 435MHz). Therefore, they best cover 144-148MHz and 437-450MHz.

Diamond V/U multiband base station verticals which are tuned specifically for Australia/NZ band plans simply do not exist!

N socket is a combination of a BNC socket and a SO-239 socket, whereby the outer body is based on a SO-239 (for strength) and the inner portion is based on a BNC socket (to maintain low loss at UHF & higher frequencies).

SD330 "Screwdriver" motor driven 3.5-30MHz mobile antenna is 1.7-1.85m long, weighs 1.1kg., handles 200W SSB. SWR is normally <2:1 and is dependent upon the ground plane surface area. Requires 12Vdc @ 100mA. The SD330 takes 50 seconds to tune from 3.5 to 30MHz...

SDC1 Tuning controller; for controlling the SD330 antenna. Features a neat 2-line LCD which can display both frequency and coil turns count. Requires 12Vdc (within 9~14.5V range is OK) @ 200mA. Size; 84w x 120d x 32h mm. Weight; 380g.

Cigarette lighter lead is 1200mm long from controller to lighter plug.
The SDC-1's controlling wires are 800mm long from the controller to the fitted bullet type connectors. These bullet connectors should be plugged into the matching bullet connectors which are fitted at the end of the antenna's controlling wires. Both the cigarette lighter leads and the controlling wires are hardwired into the SDC-1 controller.

Do NOT mount the SDC-1 in direct sunlight, such as on the top of the dashboard, as severe damage due to excessive heating may occur!
To protect the sophisticated electronics within the SDC-1, do NOT use the SDC-1 in strong magnetic fields or in conditions of high humidity
or high temperatures! The SDC-1 is NOT waterproof!

Please consider purchasing a commercial RF wattmeter which has a specially designed and calibrated internal amplifier that enables displaying of p.e.p. to very high levels of accuracy.
