The module has an integral microcontroller, connected to a small keyboard assembly. The microcontroller and keyboard provide single button operation of all the module's functions. These new design bhi active headphones reduce the ambient background noise sufficiently to allow you to listen to a program source peacefully.
Microphones within the headphones monitor the ambient noise. These microphones are wired out of phase and feed a differential amplifier which generates an opposing signal to that of the unwanted noise. This opposing signal then cancels out the unwanted background noise.
The headphones very effectively reduce noise such as blower noise, ambient noise, jet engine noise or music from another room.
The headphones are now supplied with an aircraft adapter, so you can  listen to the film, or CD player and hear much less jet engine noise.
