LDG's popular Z-100 economy tuner has now metamorphesised into the Z-100Plus. Very small and simple to use, the Z-100Plus retains 2000 frequency and tuning parameters. It will operate from any external 7 to 18 VDC voltage source, although there is no internally fitted battery tray or DC leads for mounting/using internal batteries. Six AA batteries will run it for a year of normal use! Current draw whilst tuning is less than 100mA.

The Z-100Plus now includes an internal frequency counter. The operating frequency is stored, along with tuning parameters, in order to make memory tunes a blazingly fast 0.1 seconds! Full tunes take an average of only 6 seconds.

Auto tuner for Yaesu radios

Yaesu radios are amongst the best and LDG makes a dedicated bolt-on tuner for the FT-897. However, that leaves many Yaesu transceivers without a dedicated LDG tuner.
Of course, most LDG tuners will work just fine with Yaesu radios, but it would be nice to have it integrated with the radio.
LDG's new YT-100 does just that! An included CAT cable interfaces with your FT857, FT897 and FT-100 (including all D versions), making it an integrated tuner powered via the interface cable. No extra power cables are needed.
Just press the tune button on the tuner and everything happens automatically, as follows...
The mode is automatically set to carrier mode, the RF output power is reduced and a tuning cycle then commences.
Once tuning is completed the radio is automatically returned to its original settings.
