Please do NOT mark <fragile> or <handle with care> on anything you send us
as doing so INCREASES the risk of damage by 5~10 times, in our experience. Please pack radios, etc., firmly on flat areas of their panels to allow knobs, buttons, etc., to move freely. Use HARD foam, cardboard, or newspaper...

Please try to double-box (box within a box and with hard packing material between the inner box and outer box) all radios, amplifiers, etc., as doing
so reduces the risk of damage by 5~10 times, based on our experience.
 
We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express* credit cards, EFTPOS
(in shop only), cheques (subject to clearance), Telegraphic Transfers (T/Ts),
direct deposits, internet transfers into our bank account and cash!
We also accept Australian Money Orders and Telegraphic Money Orders
(both are post office issued) BUT only for amounts under A$1,000!!
Payments must be in Australian dollars; not in NZD or in any other currency.
We don't accept business or personal cheques without a prior agreement.

We hold massive stocks of all major brands of amateur radio equipment, many hundreds of telescopes and binoculars and thousands of optical accessories.
We are also Australia's largest amateur radio service centre, by far!

Due to many of our products being priced below dealer cost, we reserve
the right to limit sales to retail quantities. Quantity pricing is by negotiation.
If you intend programming your radio or using an astronomy camera with your computer, then you may need an "application" or "emulator" if your computer's
operating system is later than Windows XP, e.g. if using Windows 7 or 8.

Most products are in stock and most can be despatched to you the same day!
All products include Australian GST. Exported products don't include Aust. GST.
Due to recent currency revaluations, prices are subject to change w/o notice.
All product prices are based on seafreight. Airmail/airfreight is at extra cost.

Our standard 1-year fully transferable warranty period applies to all products
we import and sell new. Any extended warranty period offered on any product
we sell new is NOT transferable and is for the sole benefit of the original purchaser! We don't offer replacement warranties on any new or used
product we sell, regardless of brand, model, etc.

Customer-caused or environment-caused damage is not covered by warranty.
Warranty applies only to proven factory faults in parts and/or workmanship.
All other faults are chargeable. Warranty cover is NOT insurance cover!

Updating of firmware is chargeable, even when the product is within the product's warranty period. This service is not included in warranty. Updating
of firmware is free ONLY for Yaesu amateur radio transceivers which are
within the Yaesu Japan factory-supported 3-year warranty period.
The original purchaser must pay for freight both ways (to us and from us)
re free firmware upgrading during the Yaesu-supported 3-year warranty.
We strongly recommend the radio be insured during any/all transportation.
We offer transportation insurance at 2% of the value of the goods sent.   

Repairing of amateur radio transceivers generally takes from several weeks to several months by almost all Australian suppliers/repairers, as the few fully qualified and experienced Australian amateur radio technicians are very busy!
Warranty repairs always take precedent over chargeable repairs, of course. 
Please note; We don't divulge serial numbers of any new or used product.

Please choose products carefully as we do not refund if you incorrectly chose.
We do not sell products on a trial, test, evaluation, experimental or approval basis. We do not sell any products for use in industrial, scientific, medical, military, space or aircraft applications, or for any certification, suitability,
experimentation or testing applications or any special requirements, etc.
Product returns approved by us will incur a restocking fee of 20% plus other relevant costs. Product returns not approved by us will NOT be accepted!!
The customer is responsible for all freight costs regarding product returns!
We import specially ordered products only after full payment is received.

Please choose products carefully or firstly ask us re their suitability, as
lately we have noticed more customers are ordering incorrect, unsuitable
or non-matching products for their application and/or expectations.

If you change your mind or simply order the wrong product and we despatch
that product to you then you must pay for its freight cost back to us AND
for the freight cost to send you the correct product or the product you should have ordered in the first place, even if any ordered product was sent freight
free. We are not liable for any costs if YOU order the incorrect/wrong product!

We don't match overseas suppliers' prices, special offers, sales closeouts,
etc., unless our suppliers offer us the same/similar deals. Remember that you would almost certainly have to pay to send products which are faulty within
their warranty period back to overseas suppliers for warranty repair AND also
pay for those products to be sent back to you when repaired under warranty.
Some overseas suppliers are simply not interested in any warranty repairs.

Please take these probable freight costs into account when comparing pricing
to suppliers both here and overseas. We do not have on-line secure ordering simply because of the accepted fact that at least 30% of most categories
of on-line ordered electronics are returned due to incorrect ordering.

We prefer to talk with customers or email customers to see what they already possess re electronic items, then see what they want to achieve with their
new purchase. In virtually every instance, we can help them immensely.

By customers communicating with us BEFORE they purchase any product/s
they will often save all the hassles and costs associated with them having
to send back incorrectly or inappropriately ordered product/s. We pride
ourselves on the expert help we gladly provide to customers every day!
We order small items from many of our suppliers within minutes of receiving
your order for product/s of which we may temporarily have no stock.
